Fishing Holidays in Shropshire 09-02-2010 Following a terrible winter of snow, ice and freezing winds, a visit to Hurst Farm to experience a relaxing fishing holiday in Shropshire could be just what you need to overcome weeks of runny noses, chesty coughs and sodden socks. At Hurst Farm, we provide a variety of accommodation options ranging from the ensuite twin bedrooms of our farmhouse |
Enter from the courtyard into the hall. Left are the stairs and the twin downstairs bedroom. Opposite is the bathroom. Although this is the ground floor unlike the granary it doesn't have a walk in bathroom so it not suited for the less able, however it does mean that guests can avoid stairs making it very suitable for the elderly. On the right is the fitted kitchen with dining area, seating up to 6 people. Through the kitchen leads to the luxurious lounge area. As with the other cottages there is a separate patio and barbecue area with views over the lakes and surrounding countryside. Upstairs is the double bedroom and shower room. There is also a twin attic room. This room is in the apex of the roof, so standing room is limited to the centre of the room. It is a room with bags of character, and makes an ideal room for kids or the more adventurous adult! History
