Fish in our three pools; the Match pool, the Furnace pool and the Crucion pit. All offer excellent fishing year round. And with the famous fishing of the River Severn barely five minutes away you can be assured of excellent fishing all week long. Hurst Farm Lakes Our pools are reserved for the exclusive use of guests, with some fishing competitions also taking place These are stocked with Carp, Roach, Rudd, Tench, Perch and Chub. Fishing is FREE for residents. Fishing Rules:- Please use your common sense, and please use barbless hooks. Our match pool, over 2 acres is regularly booked at weekends by clubs for their own use. Along with club bookings there are regular opens held on the pool. These matches are open to everyone and at a reduced rate for residents at Hurst Farm The Match pool provides good sport for every ability of fisherman from any of its 50 pegs. With depths varying from 7 to 20 feet, the pool fishes well all year round with regular match weights in excess of 50lbs. All the pegs are solid stoned, with 4 of the pegs offering wheelchair access. The Crucion Pit, this quarter acre pool is stocked with over 250 Crucion Carp. These timid feeders make the perfect match for the patient angler. The Furnace Pool, named after the site of a 17th century iron furnace, is stocked with the same mix of fish as the match pool; although a little less heavily. This to offers good fishing all year round to all fisherman. |
